Visiting Indiana
We've decided that this working from home has its advantages. Home really is anywhere that my computer and I both are, so this week, "home" has been in Indiana. We made the trek west back to Lafayette, and we've been having a great time. While Brett has been off working in such thrilling places as Johnstown and Altoona, Pennsylvania, Sophia and I have been getting a lot of work done here. Grandma Musick has just loved taking Sophia for walks. She, on the other hand, has gotten no work done this week. Who really needs to work when the alternative is to spend all day with your granddaughter? Here are just a few moments captured from the past week while visiting. Enjoy.

Blanket from Kris
Sophia has really taken to blankets (or anything resembling blankets) over the past two weeks. I think she likes them because she can actually grab them. She's still working on holding on to her toys, and it's much easier to keep hold of a blanket than a toy. My former supervisor from my graduate assistantship at Boston University sent Sophia this super cute blanket. Those little tags on the edges have that crinkle material in them. Sophia loves this thing. She chews and sucks on those little tags and them rubs the blanket against her face and falls asleep. It's so funny. One minute I hear "crinkle, crinkle" from her flipping the edges of that blanket around. The next minute I hear "thmuk, thmuk" from her sucking on the tags. And then I hear nothing, which is normally her fast asleep with the blanket almost covering her entire face. It's so funny to watch! Thank you, Kris, for the hours of fun!
