Pictures of the newest Musick

Brett and I had our first ultrasound last week, and we just got all the digital pictures in the mail today. Baby Musick is doing very well. Nice and healthy! He/She is 15 ounces and is very very active. The poor ultrasound tech had to chase the baby down at certain times during the exam because it kept flipping around and changing positions! We're scheduled to have another ultrasound at 28 weeks, so we'll probably have some more pictures in a few weeks.

Brett just finished his upgrade training last month, so he's now officially a captain - the pilot in the left seat and officially the man in charge. His base changed with his upgrade, so he's been working the month of August in Charleston, WV. His base is supposed to change back to Albany in September, so let's hope that goes through!

My job has been going well. I've had my hands full with several different projects lately. I've been feeling so much better than I did in my first trimester. I still need my 9 or 10 hours of sleep every night, but my appetite and energy are back. This baby has really made its presence known in the past week. He/She may only weigh a pound, but it has the punching/kicking power of a boxer. The baby is especially active when Brett talks near my belly.

Plans are to make a trip home to Indiana Aug 31 - Sept 9. Carla and Laurie are planning on throwing a baby shower. If anyone is going to be in Lafayette then, let me know! I miss seeing family and friends and would love to catch up with anyone who has time!
