My office assistant
I don't know if everyone knows this, but I've been working at home for the past two months or so. I've taken on a lot of new freelance clients and have maintained some former clients. Things are going really well the business, and I'm bringing in good money for just working part time. Best of all, I still get to spend time with Sophia. I decided to go splurge some business money on her the other day, so I got this seat for her. I'd never heard of an infant positioner before, but this thing is great. I can sit her in it, and because of the higher sides on the seat, she sits up all by herself. I put her in that seat just about everywhere now. She sits on the counter while I make dinner or clean the kitchen. Best of all, she can sit in her seat on my desk while I work. There's this rotating tray that goes around the seat and has a bunch of toys on it, but she's not quite to the point where she's playing with the toys. I get to talk and coo to her while I take care of my clients. It's great. And she makes a pretty good office assistant. Never a negative comment! She doesn't even mind my messy desk...

Awww! I have a Bumbo seat for Nora, but she's not quite ready for it yet. She's not got the neck strength for it, but she is SO close. I keep trying every couple days to see if she can handle it. She smiles and coos while she's in it, but her head kind-of starts to tilt back. That's when I take her out and say, "Maybe next time!" I wish my desk had enough room on it to put Nora on here, too. Man . . . that's a good idea!
