Milestones

We've hit several baby-milestones in the past few days. Here goes.

Sophia has officially caught her first full-blown cold. Dripping nose and everything. Ugh. She had the sniffles pretty bad when she was about 4 weeks old, but this is a real cold. Poor thing sounds like a washing machine when she nurses. She's handling it well though. She's been taking real naps and everything.

Speaking of sleeping, Sophia slept through the night last night for the first time. YAY! 8:45 pm - 6:30 am. I felt like I had slept forever. It was great.

Finger food is has been taking off. Some of the favorites - Cheerios, cheese chunks, peas, carrots, crackers, and the favorite...these little biscuit cookies that Brett gets from the flight attendants at work. Yum...

Eating should be getting easier for her because more teeth have broken through. Sophia has her two bottom teeth, and now her top left and the one to the left of that have broken through. I hope her top right one comes through soon or else she'll look a little lopsided.

We caught her standing up on her own the other day. She saw herself on the fireplace glass, let go of her little scooter that was holding her up, and waved at her reflection. When she doesn't think about it, Sophia can actually stand up on her own.

I'll keep everyone up-to-date on Sophia's progress!
