It feels good to finally finish projects. I wrapped up two quilts this month. The first one is a quilt that I made for my sister for her new baby. She's due in about two weeks, so I had to finish it and ship it off to her before the little one came along. She just unwrapped it yesterday, so I can now post pictures of it without spoiling the surprise for her! It's my first official quilt, and with the help of the ladies in my quilting group, I finished it just in time.
The second "quilt" isn't really a quilt. It's a crochet blanket that is made of separate colored crochet blocks. I started this one, oh, about a year before Sophia was born. Yeah...it's taken me a while. I completed this one last Thursday, and just in time, too. I gave it to my friend, Kris, whose wedding we went to this past Friday. Cut that one a bit close!
