Putting up the Christmas tree

I know it's not Sophia's first Christmas, but really, how much did we celebrate last year's Christmas? Not much. We had a kid instead.

So now that Thanksgiving is over, it was officially time to put up the tree. We have this little 4-foot tabletop tree that Brett and I bought right when we got married. It's so cute and tiny. We broke out all the supplies the other night and decided to show Sophia what tree decorating was all about. We had a strand of lights out on the tree, so Brett worked on fixing that. Then it got so late that Sophia fell asleep before we got to the ornaments. Oh well. There's always next year!
