My former supervisor from the Boston University FitRec and her husband recently welcomed their first baby girl. I was just busting with happiness when I first heard that they were pregnant. They are amazing people and will be amazing parents. So when I got the "it's a girl" email, I immediately started on a quilt for the little one. This is the first quilt that I have ever actually machine-quilted, and I have to say, I am in love. It's so much fun. I'm bummed that I didn't get a picture of the back though. I'm not sure what I was thinking! The back has a wonderful appliqued saying, "Eat. Sleep. Repeat." So perfect for a newborn. I also whipped up a little appliqued onesie, and I put some brown knit ruffles on the rear. With the extra fabric from the quilt, I was able to make some custom burp cloths too. So fun!

The next batch of work was completed my friend, Sarah, who wanted some dresses for her new baby daughter and some for two god-daughters. She even went to the shop and picked out her own fabric. I think she did an amazing job. I was even able to make little bloomers for each dress. Too cute. Can't wait to see the little girls in them!
